We bought this metal toy bin as a replacement for the fabric one our Boston Terrier / Rat Terrier mix managed to chew up and tip over constantly. The goal was simple: something durable that she wouldn’t destroy within a year.

So far, it’s working exactly as intended.

The galvanized metal construction is sturdy enough that she doesn’t try to chew on it, and the weight and shape make it much harder for her to tip over compared to the soft fabric bins we used before. That alone solved the biggest problems we had with the previous toy storage.

Build quality is solid overall. The metal is thick enough that it doesn’t feel flimsy, the finish looks good, and the handles are properly attached so you can move it around even when it’s full of toys. It also ended up being a little larger than I expected when it arrived, which turned out to be a nice bonus since it holds more of her toys than our old bin.

Price-wise, it initially felt a bit expensive for a toy bin, but after seeing the size and construction in person, it makes more sense. Compared to replacing a destroyed fabric bin every year, this should end up being the better long-term option.

It’s only been a few months so I can’t speak to multi-year durability yet, but based on how it’s held up so far, I’m confident it will easily outlast the fabric bin she destroyed in under a year.

I added a couple photos for context — our terrier mix is extremely hard on toys, and the shredded tug rope in the bin is a good example of the kind of chewing everything in this house has to survive.

Overall, if you have a dog that likes to chew or tip over their toy basket, a metal bin like this is a simple upgrade that actually solves the problem.

Love this for an elegant way to store my fur babies’ toys. It is on the smaller side so if you have a lot or bigger toys, I would get a bigger one if they make one

Fed up with flimsy toy boxes, I snagged this silver stainless steel dog toy bin and it's a total winner. Sleek and modern. The neutral silver hue blends right into my living room without clashing. My hyper Pyrenees chewed everything else to bits, but this one's tough as nails, no dents from rough play. Holds a ton of balls, ropes, and chews. Great value; looks pricey but isn't. Highly recommend!

Love this toy box! Indestructible and looks great in any room. Not heavy so easy to move and holds lots of toys. The picture shows the size and I have it under a hall table. Our dogs love the easy access to all their toys.

Just way, way smaller than I thought

I bought this bin to replace my dog toybox. However, the part on the bin that says dog toys is hard to even read the reflection picks up other things in the room, and it’s not that visible so I was disappointed with that however, the been is sturdy and large, but I was hoping the bone on the front that’s says “dog toys “was more visible.

When I initially saw this online I thought it was really cute. However, when I received the toy bin it’s not quite as pictured. The detail & words aren’t as defined as in the pic. It’s a decent size. Decided to keep just as not to deal with the hassle of a return but price is a little high for the product I received.

I have three German shepherd dogs (GSD) and my youngest GSD puppy has chewed up at least two other toy bins so far…and she is only six months old! However, this toy bin is ultra sturdy and strong! My puppy certainly cannot chew it or harm it, and it holds a good amount of toys. She loves it and uses it all the time. I highly recommend it. The only downside is that if you place it on a tile or hardwood surface, it “clanks” around and makes some loud noise. So make sure to put a mat under it or store it on carpet.

Overpriced for a small metal basket. I had one almost exactly the same that i received as a gift basket. Unfortunately i tossed it when my dog passed away. If this had been stuffed with doggy goodies, might be worth the price.

This metal container is great for my puppy toys, but this was outrageously expensive for its small size. I only decided to pay this cost because I didn’t want the silver metal containers from a farm store as they would not match my home decor. It’s under the grooming table in the picture.

We have two puppies, but we don't go overboard with buying them toys, so this is the perfect size. Our pups love to chew on everything, but they can't chew this since it is metal. It also fits in well with the decor of our living room.

Have used other types of dog toy bins such as wicker, thick plastic, wood, & my two dogs have chewed through them all except this one.

I have a 5 year old German Shepherd who likes to chew most things, but not metal. The first time she ripped a chunk out of her old toy basket was the day she first managed to put her own toys away. I guess she got too excited about the basket. Now that we are using this bucket, things can be noisy going in, but only the toys are getting chewed. Well, at least when it comes to the container of toys. It has not solved our other dog chewing problems, but who would expect?

My dog is a big power chewer and needs big toys. We have a 5 knot rope, Jumbo Nylabone, XL black Kong (snowman shape), a big black bone shape from Kong, and a jumbo piece of elk antler. The bucket is maybe half full. I like the size. Small enough to fit in a small corner. Big enough to fit the toys with room for her to root around for what she wants and not knock everything out.

I think this bucket will outlast this dog, and maybe some others as well.

Great product! Our dog would not leave her previous toy box alone. That one was a cloth, woven basket and she was tearing it apart. So we decided to try this one since it was metal and we hoped she wouldn't chew it. She didn't. In fact, she has never once tried to chew this one -- we are very happy with it! It's very sturdy, holds all her toys, and it seems to be puppy proof.

This is a very nice, high quality copper dog toy bin. Plus, they won't chew on it. Thank you.
